I have a perhaps silly question, once you get your car set how you would like it do you just remove the side panel to continue work on your game?

@Merrie: Once you have your car set how you like, make a save of the settings.
In the module scene script, at the top there are some variables that match the ui,
add in your new settings here then export the module to use in another project.
You could remove the ui scene and other scripts but you will find it quicker to edit
the module and import it into a new project.
Here is a tutorial on how to do this : Tutorial

Great tutorial and application, a nice addition to the demo would be adding rotation to the wheel objects based on the speed of the vehicle.
